Stella May McMichael, 92, of Bloomfield died on Wednesday, January 8, 1992 at Humana Hospital-Audubon in Louisville. Stella had been a resident of Green Meadows Nursing Home in Mount Washington.
A native of Nelson County, Stella was the daughter of the late John Miles and Kate Crume McMichael and was a licensed practical nurse.
Stella was the oldest member of Little Union Baptist Church and taught Sunday School for more than 70 years.
Surviving are one brother, Tom McMichael of Louisville, and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, January 11, 1992, at the Houghlin Funeral Home with interment in Maple Grove Cemetery in Bloomfield.
The Rev. Paul Smith, pastor of Little Union Baptist Church, will officiate.
