Lyman W. Fitzgerald of Claremont, NH, died November 1, 2012, at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH. He was born in Yakima, WA, the son of Lyman Hugh and Annabelle Bernice (Gibbons) Fitzgerald.
He grew up in the Yakima area.
He drove truck for a cattle company for awhile. He volunteered for Open Hands Mission of Claremont where he made numerous
friends. He also was an avid Ham radio operator, not only in this area, but in Maryland where he lived for a while.
His family includes five children that are either in the armed forces or living on the west coast; one sister, Dena Mathews, from Shelton, Washington; and his girlfriend of many years Doreen Needham of Claremont.
