FRYBURG – Guy J. Lutz, 73, of Snydersburg died at 6 a.m. Wednesday in the Clarion Hospital following and extended illness. He was born June 16, 1894, in Snydersburg, the son of Charles and Catherine Moore Lutz. He was married to Louise Lander in 1932 who died May 15, 1967. Mr. Lutz was a former employee of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad from which he retired in 1960 after 40 years of service. He was a member of the St. Joseph Church of Lucinda. Surviving are the following children: Kenneth of Shippenville, David of Marble, Mrs. Richard (Mary) Holder of Balboa Canal Zone, Winfield of Lucinda, Mrs. Ray (Alice) Guntrum of Rimersburg and Albinus and Mrs. Regis (Catherine) Luden, both of Snydersburg. A son; Clarence, was killed in action in World War II in 1945 and a daughter, Ellen, died in infancy. Also surviving are 15 grandchildren, one brother, Arthur, of Snydersville and three sisters, Mrs. Lloyd Finney, Mrs. Paul Reinsel and Miss Germaine Lutz, all of Clarion. Friends may call at the Faller Funeral Home in Fryburg anytime. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 today. Requiem High mass will be sung at 9 a.m. Friday at the St. Joseph Church in Lucinda with Rev. William Holl, Pastor, officiating. Interment will be at St. Joseph Church Cemetery.
