CARTERET - Funeral services will be held this afternoon for James Collins Jr. of 8 Locust Street, who died Saturday afternoon when he fell overboard a fishing boat sailing off Sandy Hook.

Funeral will be in Clover Leaf Memorial Park, Woodbridge.

The body was recovered at Hempstead Bay and taken to the Brooklyn Morgue.

Collins is survived by his wife, Helen; a son, James Collins third, age ten; two brothers, living in Carteret, Robert and Frank; three other brothers, August of Baltimore, Md.; and George and John of Abbeville, S.C.; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Collins of Abbeville, S.C.; two sisters, Mrs. Nancy Daniels and Evelyn of Abbeville; two other sisters, Mrs. J. G. Pfander, of Memphis, Tenn. and Margaret of Binghampton, N.Y.
