Her parents were James Monroe Carver (1874-1944) and Florence Earley Carver (1881-1916).
James and Sybil's mother Florence married in 15 November 1897 in Hugo, Choctaw, Oklahoma, USA.
Sadly, Florence passed away on 14 November 1916 in Gunter, Grayson County, Texas.
James married again, to Nell Teresa Sherron (1890-1958). Nell raised Sybil and her siblings, and James and Nell had a daughter between them, Margaret.
On 5 May 1923, Sybil married Oscar Lee Rorie in Greenville, Hunt, Texas.
They raised two children: Thelma [Thelma Ruth Carver Rorie (1926-2008)] and a son [private].
Sybil passed away on 28 February 1995.
