WACO -- Eleanor Rose Cogdell Bradshaw, 83, died Saturday at home.
Funeral: 11:30 a.m. today at Wilkirson-Hatch Funeral Home in Waco. Burial: Waco Memorial Park.
Officiants: The Rev. Glen Jones of University United Methodist Church in Fort Worth and John Aymond of Cogdell Memorial United Methodist Church of Waco.

Mrs. Bradshaw was born in Winters on Jan. 9, 1913, and was reared in Fort Worth. She was a graduate of Polytechnic High School in Fort Worth and the College of Industrial Arts, now Texas Woman's University in Denton. She married Leo Bradshaw in 1933. He preceded her in death in 1972. Leo and Eleanor Rose moved to Waco, where they founded Cogdell's Hardware & Automotive. They were pioneers in Texas suburban shopping, and organizing charter members of Cogdell Memorial United Methodist Church in Waco, where Mrs. Bradshaw continued her membership.
Mrs. Bradshaw's active involvement in Waco civic affairs included serving as president of the Waco Parent-Teacher Association, chairman of the first Mothers March for Polio and chairman of the Red Cross and United Fund.
Survivors: Sons, Leo Bradshaw Jr. of Waco, Bob Cogdell Bradshaw of Waco and San Francisco, Jim Bradshaw of Fort Worth; daughter, Patricia Bradshaw Edge of Houston; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
