LICHTY.-On the 10th of June, near Orrville, Wayne Co., Ohio, Peter Lichty, at the age of 83 years and 5 days. He was born in 1804, and in 1825 he was married to Veronica Eicher, and they had a family of eleven children, of whom ten survive him, 54 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. He was buried on the 12th at the Oak Grove Meeting house. Services by J.K. Yoder, and D.Z. Yoder from 2 Timothy 4:6-8. He led an exemplary christian life and was loved and respected by all. He always lived on the place which he cleared 54 years ago.
