Bonnie graduated from Mount St. Mary High School.
She worked at St. Anthony Hospital in the business office. It was there at St. Anthony's that she was diagnosed with TB.
After her recovery, she married Charles Haase, Jr. on Nov. 13, 1948. In spite of the doctor's warnings of significant health issues by having a family, they were blessed with six daughters.
Bonnie was first and foremost a loving wife and mother, even having two foster daughters before her own children were born.
She loved to cook and kept a wonderful hospitable home. After her children were in school, she worked at Hillcrest Hospital as a switchboard operator, where she helped set up the doctor's answering service.
Bonnie had a strong devotion to Our Lord and the Blessed Virgin Mary. She was a member of the Franciscan Third Order. They were longtime members of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and, recently, at Immaculate Conception.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; husband Charles; and brother William E. Carroll.
She is survived by six daughters, Kathy Haase, Carol Haase of Oklahoma City; Lisa (Richard) Buse of Wahoo, Neb.; Nannette (Steve) Marcott, of Norman; Jan Haase of Addison, Texas and Celeste (Andrew) Ayton of Fircrest, Wash.; sister Leveda (William) Faulkner of St. Paul, Minn.; sisters-in-law Marguerite (William) Carroll, Oklahoma City and AnnaBelle (Larry) Haase, Creal Springs, Ill.; 13 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephew, and friends.
Memorials may be made to The Apostles of Jesus Missionaries, 1120 NW 31st St., OKC, OK 73118, or Mercy Hospice.
