Martha is the daughter of William Emmett Skinner and Zula Bell (Campbell) Skinner. She had 6 siblings, including a twin brother, Clyde. Martha was adopted by her mother's Aunt Flora and Uncle Tipton Campbell at a very early age, at which time her name was changed to Campbell.
Martha married Everett Levi Tolle on July 2, 1938 in Louisville, KY. They had 2 children: Patty Louise (Tolle) Cook and David Lee Tolle, Sr.
Martha's daughter, Patty, and family came to live with her after Everett passed away. Martha died peacefully in her own home in Anderson from a heart attack.
