Why does F.A.G Admin keep removing the Pic of the 0verall Cemetery ??
Prior Entry:
The markings, "M N," on this footstone most likely are the initials of Mercy (Feurt) Noel, the first wife of Philip Noel (1786-1865) who is also buried in Lucas [Country Club] Cemetery. Her dates: b. 21 Aug 1789, New Jersey; d. 7 Oct 1830, Scioto Co., OH
Addendum:
There apparently was a lawsuit between family members after the death of George Feurt, one of the brothers. The other siblings are complainants against brother Gabriel Feurt. The beauty of this document for my branch of the family is that it names the husband and children of Mary (Reeves) Feurt, who died in 1819 before this lawsuit was filed. Eldest daughter Delilah was already married by this time, so was not considered an heir to her mother's interest.
