Margaret Brock passed away on Saturday, February 16, 2013. A native of Brevard, NC, Margaret was born April 20, 1938. Growing up in the mountains of western North Carolina, she enjoyed being part of a strong Christian family. Those values have been exemplified through the years as she loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren dearly. She has been a devoted wife to her husband, Roger, for 56 years serving alongside him as missionaries in El Salvador for many years. As a Sunday school teacher and women's leader in her church, she has left a legacy of faithfulness, commitment and love for her Savior, Jesus Christ. Because of her personal faith in Him, she lives forever in Heaven. Margaret has made a difference and she will be missed.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Mary Shipman; her sisters, Ruth Shipman and Ella Mae Reese; her brother-in-law, Hamlin Williams and her granddaughter, Malarie McLamb.
Funeral services will be held 11:00am, Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at the Burgess Road Baptist Church with Reverend Cooley officiating. Burial will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery.
