Grace C. Hitchcock
Grace Celia Hitchcock, a charter member of Fishers Grange, died in Vancouver Wednesday, July 23, 1997. She was 100.
A lifelong resident of Clark County, she was born Sept. 25, 1896, in Fishers, now Fisher's Landing. She was a homemaker and had been the oldest member of Mill Plain United Methodist Church. Mrs. Hitchcock, who loved to work in her garden and with flowers, was a member of the state grange association.
Her husband, Rolland E., died in 1987; and a son, Donald, died in 1985.
She is survived by one son, Robert C. of Camas; and two grandchildren.
A funeral will begin at 3 p.m. Monday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel. There will be a private burial at Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
