Floyd Queener
A retired Union Carbide craft foreman, Floyd Queener, 77, of Clinton Rt. 3, died Sunday at the Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. He worked at the y-12 plant for 26 years. Queener was a member of Beech Park Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Ruth Brock Queener, sons, Jack David Queener of Clinton, Richard Queener of Wilmington, N.C. Samuel Stephen Queener of Oliver Springs, six grandchildren, one great-grandchild, two sisters, Geneva Vann of Oak Ridge, and Carrie Vann of Oliver Springs, a bother, Leon Queener of Oliver Springs. Funeral services were held Tuesday night in the Chapel of Sharp Funeral Home in Oliver Springs with the Rev. Kenneth Milby and the Rev. R.L. Lovette officiating. Burial was Wednesday morning in Anderson Memorial Gardens
