WOLFEBORO - Hazel Russell Lane, 91, of Wolfeboro, died on Friday, Nov. 12, 2004, at Huggins Hospital in Wolfeboro.
She was a long-term resident of The Ledges in Wolfeboro, where she developed and nurtured a showpiece flower garden. She was born Hazel Cotton in Brookfield on July 21, 1913, a daughter of John A. and Mary L. (Neal) Cotton and lived her childhood on Cotton Mountain and attended local schools.
She was predeceased by her late husbands, Lewis H. Russell of Wolfeboro and Russell H. Lane of Mount Dora, Fla.; also her daughter, Roena M. Russell of Mount Dora; and several siblings, including her dear sister, Inez L. Caswell, who died on April 25, 2003.
She is survived by seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
As per her request, there are no services planned. Interment will be at the Lake View Cemetery in Wolfeboro.
Arrangements are in the care of Peaslee Funeral Home, 2079 Wakefield Road in Sanbornville (Wakefield).
