FRANK S. BAKER

Frank S. Baker, 79, of 441 S. 20th St., Wilson, died last night in Allentown General Hospital.

He was plumbing manager of Sear's Roebuck Co., Easton, for 17 years, retiring in 1963. He formerly was employed by Metropolitan Edison Co., Easton.

Born in Coudersport, Pa., on April 6, 1900, he was a son of the late John Wellington and Estelle (West) Baker. He formerly lived in Ithaca, N.Y.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army during World War I (Co. I, 108th Infantry; 13 April 1917 to 31 March, 1919 ), and a member of Memorial United Church of Christ, Wilson, and VFW Post, No. 1290, Easton.

Surviving are his wife, the former Mabel Kouf; two daughters, Mrs. Betty Lee Sprague, Fleetwood, Pa., and Mrs. Joan Pepper, Marion Ill.; two brothers, Walter of Albany, N.Y., and William of Upper Darby, Pa.; three sisters, Mrs. Jean Cutler, Ithaca N.Y., Mrs. Doris Luck, Hendersonville, N.C., and Mrs. Zelma Vogenthaller, Mocksville, N.C.; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

A daughter, Mrs. Lowana Seibel, died in 1964.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in the Ashton Funeral Home, Easton. Interment will be in Northampton Shrine.
