Born in Clarksdale, Mr. Davis lived in Florida for several years. He recently returned to Water Valley from Korea, where he had been employed as a construction inspector/consultant for the military. Mr. Davis was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He enjoyed motorcycles, NASCAR and football.
A graveside service was held Saturday, July 2, at two o'clock in the afternoon in the Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery, Water Valley. Coleman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his father and stepmother, William Eugene and Josephine Davis of Water Valley; two sisters, Debra Davis of Virginia and Janice D. McGraw of Anchorage, Alaska; his grandmother, Dorothy True of Water Valley; his uncle and caregiver John L. True of Batesville and his uncle, Jim True of Water Valley.
His mother, Frances True Davis, preceded him in death.
