NAMPA (Special) — Adam G. Burback, 55, a retired railroad car inspector, died at his home in Nampa Saturday night.
Mr. Burback was born July 14, 1899, in Norka, Russia, and came to the United States with his parents when he was nine months old. His family first resided in Lincoln, Neb., and then he came to Idaho, settling first in St. Anthony, and then in Nampa in 1938. He had been employed by the Union Pacific railroad for the past 25 years and had been in ill health for the past several years. He was a member of the Railroad Brotherhood of Carmen, Lodge No. 590 of Nampa.
Survivors include his wife, Muriel Burback, Nampa; two sons, Bill of Nampa, and Sgt. Alfred Burback, Camp Crowder, Mo., three daughters, Mrs. Marjorie Hupe, Canoga Park, Calif., Mrs. Stella Hosek, Jr., Portland, and Darlene Burback, Portland; three step-daughters, Mrs. Georgia Burback, Nampa; Mrs. Marjorie Fullerton, Edmonds, Wash., and Mrs. Arlpne Reding, Nampa; two brothers, George of Pocatello, and Jake Burback, Caldwell; three sisters, Mrs. Katie Karlson, Pocatello; Mrs. Amelia Guderjohn, Boise, and Mrs. Mollie Miller, Caldwell, and 17 grandchildren. Alsip chapel will announce services.
