Miss Catherine Miller Dies
Prominent Resident of Plains Heart Victim
Miss Catherine P. Miller, sister of J. S Miller, Plains undertaker, died Wednesday morning at 8.30 at the home of her mother following a heart attack.
Miss Miller, who resided at 10 North Main Street, Plains, next door to her brother, was apparently in good health until stricken with the attack at 9 Tuesday night.
Born in Plains, Miss Miller resided there all her life. She was the daughter of the late L. W. and Mary Miller.
Miss Miller, who was active in civic and community affairs, attended Plains Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are three brothers, Phillip of Wilkes-Barre, J. S. Miller, Plains, and Ben, a member of the faculty at Plains Memorial High School; and also a sister, Mrs. Ambrose Marion of Newark, N. J.
The funeral will be held from the Miller Funeral Home, 8 North Main Street, on Saturday afternoon at 1. Rev. M. E. LooLian of Plains Presbyterian Church, will officiate, Burial will be in Hollenback Cemetery.
