Son of Phillips and Ellen Musgrove, he was born in Indiana April 18, 1874. He was a member of the Open Bible church.
Surviving are the widow, Clara; two sons, Phillip of Ottumwa and Hollis of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; three daughters, Mrs. Walter T. Hall, Mrs. Harold McKelvey and Mrs. Ernest Lee, all of Ottumwa; 16 grandchildren and two great grandchildren; two brothers, Willis of Ottumwa and Jim of Hussey; three sisters, Mrs. Ada Murphy of Washington, D.C., Mrs. Ida Adkins of New Sharon, and Mrs. Addie Conner of Ottumwa; one half brother, Roy Musgrove of Waterloo, and one half sister, Mrs. Grace McCombs of Waterloo. He was preceded in death by three sons and one daughter.
The body is at the McKelvey residence, 713 Gladstone street, where short services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. and at the Open Bible church, Jefferson and Second streets, at 10:30 conducted by the Rev. L.E. Welshons. Burial will be in Shaul cemetery.
