Mary Lilla Cheatham, 77, of 401 Meader Street, Campbellsville, died Monday, March 26, 1979, at the Taylor County Hospital. She was a native of Cumberland County, born there June 14, 1901, the daughter of the late Lee and Julia Fudge. Mrs. Cheatham was a member of the St. Marks United Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband: Mr. S.W. Cheatham of Campbellsville; one son: Howard Cheatham of Columbia; and two brothers: Ben Fudge of Burksville and Bill Fudge of Glasgow. Funeral services were held at 4 p.m., Wednesday, March 28, at the Lyon Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bill Davenport officiating, assisted by the Rev. Kermitt Flener. Interment followed in the Brookside Cemetery. Active pallbearers were Preston Fudge, William L. Fudge, James Tennyson, Wilmer Bryant, Merrul Graves and Hayes Melson. Honorary pallbearers were Buell Tucker, Rev. T.C. Morrison, Rev.
