The funeral of Supervisor Jefferson G Jackson was held at 1:16 o'clock this afternoon at the home, 20 Sturges street, and at Odd Fellows Temple 299 Chenango street, at 2 o'clock. Rev Dr Bergeh A Brown of the Calvary Baptist Church preached the sermon. He spoke highly of Supervisor Jackson and held that his life is Worthy of emulation; There were present several members of the Carpenters' Union, of Sunlight Lodge, Daughters of Rebekah, of Parlor City Lodge, IOOF, and of Good Will Encampment.
The bearers were: E R Dunlap, C J Moffatt. Levi Truesdell, J P Herrick, A D Thompson and George Raymond. Burial was in Floral Park Cemetery
