Death Claims Mrs. Hoober

Mrs. Ella Hoober, resident of Phoenix for more than 25 years, died in her home, 716 East Culver street, early yesterday morning. She was 73 years of age and had been an invalid for several years.

The surviving relatives are E. G. Berryhill, Phoenix, a brother; Miss Anna Berryhill, Iowa City, Ia., a sister, and four step-children. They are Mrs. Wilmot Willetts, Kansas City, Kan.; Mrs. Oscar Wallichs and Mrs. Armour McGee, Los Angeles, and Clyde O. Hoober, Calipatria, Calif.

Mrs. Hoober was married to the Rev. Josiah [sic] Hoober in 1892. He died in Phoenix [sic] 1910, a few years after they moved to this city to live. She was a member of the First Methodist church and took an active part in its affairs as long as her health permitted.

Services will be conducted by the Rev. James A. Staveley, pastor of the Creighton Community Methodist church, from the J. T. Whitney funeral home at 10 o'clock Thursday morning. Interment will be in the family plot in Greenwood Memorial Park.
