Valerie Rose Dingel, 56, died Sunday of cancer at Corona Regional Medical Center. A memorial Mass will be at a later date.
Aaron Cremation and Burial Services in Loma Linda is handling arrangements.
Mrs. Dingel, who was born in Dallas, lived in Corona nine years. She was a bookkeeper at Los Alamitos Medical Group, Los Alamitos Medical Imaging Group, Chief Auto Parts in Cypress and other companies for 30 years before she retired in 1987.
She was a parishioner at St. Edward Catholic Church in Corona.
Mrs. Dingel enjoyed reading, crocheting, doing crossword puzzles and painting.
She is survived by her husband, N. Russ; a daughter, Tiya Pecastaing of Los Alamitos; a grandchild; and a brother, Robert Tourville of Burson.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.
