Edward H. Carnicom, 84, Route 1, Burgoon farmer, died Thursday at 10:45 p m. in Memorial hospital.
Mr. Carnicom had been seriously ill two years and had been hospitalized for various periods during that time. He was last admitted to the hospital October 31.
Surviving are his wife, Ethel, son, Roy, Fremont; sisters, Mrs. Emma Garn, Toledo; Mrs. Bessie Humberger, Gibsonburg; brothers, Harry, Fremont, and Carl and Clyde, both of Helena. There are two step grandchildren.
Mr. Carnicom was born September 23, 1883, in Washington township, Sandusky County, son of Lewis and Ellen Gilbert Carnicom. In earlier years Mr. Carnicom entered the horse pulling contests at the county fair here.
Friends may call at the Veh and Son funeral home, Gibsonburg, beginning Friday at 7 p. m. Services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. Gerald Bell of Burgoon EUB church officiating. Assisting will be the Rev. L. D. Reynolds, former pastor of the Burgoon church. Burial will be in Four Mile House cemetery.
