ERVIN DACHELET
Ervin H. Dachelet, 82, 9053 Pine Lane, Brussels, died at Door County Memorial Hospital Thursday, Sept. 26.
He was born March 19, 1914, in Brussels to the late Daniel and Virginia (LaLuzerne) Dachelet. He farmed, worked in the shipyards, and spent two years in Milwaukee working at Seaman Body Auto Co. He was Thresherman of the Year in 1991. June 2, 1936, he married Eunice Polecheck in Brussels. He was a member of the Holy Name Society. Ervin enjoyed his family, grandchildren and traveling.
Survivors include his wife, Eunice; three children, Roger (Karen) Dachelet, Green Bay, Mary (Terry) Cochart, Brussels, David (Carla) Dachelet, Sturgeon Bay; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, Annabelle Busch, Sturgeon Bay; special niece, Kathryn Miller, Sturgeon Bay; sister-in-law, Evelyn Dachelet, Omro, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services were held Monday, Sept. 30, at Forbes Funeral Home, Sturgeon Bay and St. Francis and St. Mary Parish, Brussels. The Rev. Pius Cotter officiated. Entombment in the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum, Green Bay. Visitation was Sunday evening.
