Some paperwork shows his middle name spelled "Huston".
He has 2 (two) official birth certificates

Despite dates on paperwork and stones, he died sometime before midnight on January 18, 2000.
His body however, was not discovered until 2:00 am [CST] on the 19th.
Although it was obvious he had been dead for several hours, no autopsy was done and paperwork was stamped with date of discovery, not date of death.
Rev. Meeks was a fully enrolled member by blood in the CTNEAL (Cherokee Tribe of Northeast Alabama)and very active in it until he passed; Ordained minister in the Congregational Methodist Church (later moved to Church of the Nazarene) was a pastor at time of his death. Served in the US Army and was honorably discharged: Boot Camp in Ft. Bragg, served in Bad Tolz, Germany, exited at Tracy City, California.

Son of Rev. Marvin Vester ("Terrapin") Meeks and Agnes Jane (nee Sanders) Meeks.
