Mr. John B. Buchanan, Jr. died on February 5, 2013. Mr. Buchanan was the son of John B. and Annie Laura Warren Buchanan. He was born on June 26,1926 in Nashville, TN. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in Europe during WWII. He was married to Gloria Miles Buchanan. He was retired from the U.S. Department of Agriculture, where he was a nutrition specialist. Mr. Buchanan served as an elder of Madison Presbyterian Church and was a member of the Kiwanis Club. He loved to read and fish and enjoyed chasing hurricanes. He was a family man and took a great deal of pride in his two granddaughters.
A graveside service was held on Thursday at 11 am at Madison Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Wayne Ghann officiated.
