Gene E. Abbott, 75, of Sevierville passed away Friday Feb. 15, 2013. He was a member of McMahan Baptist Church, and worked for Denton Oil Company for over 20 years.
Gene was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Mary Abbott; brothers, Carroll and Winfred Abbott; sister, Ella Faye Williams; and grandson, Jason Abbott

Son: Harold Abbott and wife Golda
Daughters: Virginia Greenlee and husband Stacy, and Reginia Ogle
Grandchildren: Samuel, Joshua, and Anthony Cunningham; Justin and Tylor Abbott, Jessica and Jonathan Ogle
Great grandchildren: Breonna, Skyler, Yamya, and Joshua Paul Cunningham; Hailey, Van and Timothy Cunningham; Reece and Mya Abbott; Christian and Colton Abbott
Brothers: James Abbott, George Abbott and wife Betty
Brother-in-law: Worley Mathes and wife Virginia (Pinky)
