Lila Mae (Bromlow) Wallis

Lila Mae Wallis, 62, of Guymon, Texas, Oklahoma passed away December 22, 1987 at Memorial Hospital of Guymon.
The daughter of James Emanuel and Margaret Mae (O'Conner) Bromlow, she was born on August 23, 1925 in McMillan, Marshall, Oklahoma.
Lila married Marvin Andrew Wallis on August 29, 1942 in Taloga. The family came to Guymon 1945 with Cabot. They moved to Pampa, Gray, Texas in 1949, returning to Guymon in 1961. Her husband has been employed by Hinchey Ford Inc. since that time.
Mrs. Wallis attended the Free Will Baptist Church
Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by a son, Foy Wallis, seven brothers and two sisters.She is survived by her husband, Marvin of the home, four children: Meredith Wallis and wife Ruth of Gage, LaVonna Prewitt and husband L.D. of Roundrock, Texas, Glovena Hamby and husband Larry of Gage, and Cary Wallis of Guymon; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Emma Smith of Fairview and Jewel Woods of Alvin and two brothers, Marion Bromlow of Winfield, Kansas and Jack Bromlow of Fairview.
Funeral sevices will be conducted from the Free Will Baptist Church in Guymon December 24, 1987 at 9:30 a.m. with Rev. Odie Nunley officiating.
Interment will be in the Elmhurst Cemetery in Guymon under the direction of the Henson Funeral Home of Guymon. Friends may call at the funeral home at anytime.
