Delbert B. Lenhart, 76, of Route 11 died Saturday at the Veterans Administration Medical Center, Syracuse, after a long illness.

A native of Irvona, Pa., Mr. Lenhart lived in Hastings since 1952. He was a truck driver for 17 years with Clark Concrete Co., Syracuse.

An Army veteran of World War II, Mr. Lenhart was a life member of Hastings-Parish Post 8823, VFW, and a member of Fuller-Taylor Post 915, American Legion.

Surviving are his wife, the former Diana DelBuono; a son, Delbert A. of Fulton; 10 daughters, Cathy Lenhart of Mexico, Betty Rice of Syracuse, Gloria Chaires of Central Square, Linda Prentice and Sandra Lenhart, both of New Haven, Leona Weaver of West Monroe, Bonnie Holbrook of Michigan, Loraine Lawton of Parish, and Helena Lenhart and Kimberly Lenhart, both of Hastings; two stepsons, William and Edward Blount, both of Hastings; three stepdaughters, Luwanna Monnell of Baldwinsville, LaRae Cottrell of Liverpool and Denise Blount of Hastings; two sisters, Leona Dawley of Irvona, Pa., and Kathleen Maines of Clearfield, Pa.; 39 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be 9 a.m. Wednesday at Watson Funeral Home, Central Square, the Rev. John J. Smegelski officiating. Burial will be in Hastings Cemetery.

Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home, 631 S. Main St.

Contributions may be made to the Hastings Volunteer Fire Department or to Feed the Children, PO Box 36, Oklahoma City, Okla. 73101.
