Mrs Tucker, the wife of W C Tucker, residing at 507 Luck avenue s.w., died at the family residence yesterday after an illness of more than three months. The deceased was a consistent member of the First Baptist Church and has many warm friends in this city who will grieve to learn of her death. She leaves a husband and one son to mourn her loss. The funeral will occur tomorrow afternoon and the remains will be interred in Fairview Cemetery.

1-14-1898 issue–As published in the Times yesterday, Mrs Ada V Tucker, wife of W R Tucker, a conductor on the Norfolk and Western railway, and who resides at 507 Luck avenue s.w., died Wednesday after an illness of three months or more, aged 42 years. The funeral will not take place until tomorrow morning as the family has decided to await the arrival of a brother of the deceased, who resides in the West. Mrs Tucker was a consistent member of the First Baptist Church, where she regularly attended as long as her health would permit. In addition to a large circle of friends, deceased leaves a husband and one son to mourn their loss. Mrs Tucker was president of Crystal Spring Division No. 64, Ladies' Auxiliary to the Order of Railway Conductors. The ladies of that order have taken charge of the remains and the burial services of the auxiliary will be used at the grave, and the usual services conducted. Members of the order and friends are requested to be present at the funeral. The funeral services will be conducted at the First Baptist Church tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock by the pastor, Rev T J Shipman. The interment will be in Fairview Cemetery.
