The burial of Mrs Mary Breen, widow of the late Mike Breen, occurred last Saturday afternoon, at 2 o'clock, in the home cemetery on the mountain above Tug Creek.
The funeral of the deceased will be conducted next Decoration day. Mrs Breen was a member of the Baptist church and a splendid old lady. Her demise was due to pneumonia at the advanced age of 83 years.

Mrs Breen is survived by eight children, four daughters - Mrs Lizzie Sapp, of Shinnston, and Misses Mary J, Nancy and Ellen of the home place, and four sons, viz: Messrs George, Mike and R D of the Tug Creek community, and Walter Breen, of Hinton.
