THE SPRINGFIELD SUN, Mr. McIntire Rites Tuesday in Louisville

William Louis McIntire, 72, died about 1:30 Sunday morning, July 19, 1960 enroute to General Hospital after suffering a heart seizure at his home at 113 West Tenny in Louisville.

The son of the late Mr. and Mrs. George W. McIntire, both deceased. Mr.
McIntire was born and spent his early life in and lived for some time with his family in Springfield. He had been blind since he was 9 years old and was a member of the the Kentucky Foundation For the Blind and the alumni association of the Kentucky School for the Blind.

Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Katie Mattingly, Louisville and two brothers Lennie McIntire, Fredericktown, this county, and J. Edd McIntire, Jacksonville, Fla.

The funeral was conducted at St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Louisville at 10:00 o'clock Wednesday morning, July 12, the body being brought to St. Rose for interment in the family loti n the church cemetery there.
