David Lee Noble, 82, of Corvallis, died on Feb. 6, 2013, in an Albany hospital.

Interment will be at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Feb. 22, 2013, at Huston-Jost Funeral Home, 86 W. Grant St., in Lebanon.

He was born on Feb. 14, 1930, in Portland to Edith and Lyle Noble.

He graduated from Parkrose High School.

He married Teresa Luanne Noble in 1950, and they later divorced.

He served honorably in the U.S. Army Mash Ambulance Corps in the Korean Conflict.

A career auto and diesel mechanic, he worked for AB Smith and later Hertz-Penske Corporation in Portland until retirement, when he moved to Lebanon.

He married Irene C. Noble in 1996. She died in 2003.

He is survived by daughters Eko Susan Noble, of Friday Harbor, Wash., Karen Noble Wulf, of Carmel, Calif.; son Michael Noble, of Tigard; stepsons Ed Cacka, of Klamath Falls, and Evan Cacka, of Woodinville, Wash.; stepdaughter Carol Spinney, of Corvallis; step-grandchildren, and canine companion Rascal.

Memorial donations in his name may be made to Samaritan Evergreen Hospice Service in care of Huston-Jost Funeral Home, 86 W. Grant St., Lebanon OR 97355.
