President of the United Daughters of the Confederacy Arizona Division in 1962. She unveiled the Confederate Monument in the Wesley Bolin Plaza in front of the Arizona Capitol in Feb of 1962. Wesley Bolin, once governor of Arizona, spoke and many senators showed as well. After followed various balls to celebrate the centennial of the Civil War.
