CALDWELL -- James "Jim Bob" Robert Poling, 84, of Macksburg, passed away Monday (Feb. 11, 2013) at Summit Acres Skilled Nursing & Rehab in Caldwell.
He was born Aug. 9, 1928 in Macksburg, son of the late Sherman and Ethel Violet Addlespurger.
Mr. Poling served and protected his nation in the U.S. Army.
Cremation will be observed and a graveside committal service will be Friday at 11 a.m. in the Shafer Cemetery near Macksburg, with Pastor Jeff Hancock officiating.
Military graveside services will be conducted by the Noble County Veteran Service Organizations, with inurnment to follow.
