WILLIE MAE COE

Willie Mae Coe, 95, of Powderly died Tuesday, Dec 2, at St. Joseph's Hospital and Health Center.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec 4, at Bright-Holland Funeral Home Chapel with her grandson, the Rev. Terry Rogers and the Rev. Danny Moody of Irving officiating. Burial will be at Meadowbrook Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

She was born Jan 9, 1902, in Windfield, Texas to Tom and Violetta Bennifield Smith. She was a member of Arthur City Baptist Church. She married Edgar Clay Coe Aug 29, 1917. He died Aug. 22, 1981.

Surviving are her two daughters and three sons, Esterdean and Johnny Walker, Pauline Vickers Stansell, Bill and Mary Lou Coe, all of Paris, Bobby and Mary Coe of Tyler, and Louis and Eva Coe of Marshall. Grandchildren are Louis Clay Walker, Jimmy Walker, Johnnie Walker Stewart, Frankie Walker Kaiser, Gene Vickers, Jan Vickers Rogers, Vicki Vickers Powell, Sandy Vickers Jones, Shelly Coe Briggle, Taunyia Coe Lewis, Billy Coe, Jr., Terri Coe Cotton; Debbie Coe Whitehead, Donald Coe, Carla Coe Holland, Louis Charles Coe, Linda Coe Wade, Larry Redding and Keith Redding. 46 great-grandchildren; and several great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister Jewel Tiller, a brother Alfred Smith, an infant son, Floyd Eugene Coe, a granddaughter Mary Elouise Coe and great-grandson, John Louis Walker.

Pallbears will be grandsons: Louise Clay Walker, Jimmy Walker, Gene Vickers, Billy Coe, Jr. Brad Coe, Louis Charles Coe, Keith Redding, Larry Redding, Jay Jones and Dusty Jones, honorary bearers will be her great-grandchildren.
