GENEVA WOMAN CLAIMED BY DEATH
MRS. PETER BOLLINGER, 42, DIES AT COUNTY HOSPITAL
Mrs. Irene Eley Bollinger, 42, wife of Peter Bollinger, near Geneva, died at 8 p.m. Monday at the Adams county hospital of a heart condition which developed from a gall bladder operation performed ten days ago.
The decedent was born April 24, 1899 in Adams county to Elmer N. and Victoria Martz Eley. She was married April 12, 1919 at a Decatur to Peter Bollinger, who survives. The couple resided a number of years in Bluffton, moving in 1932 to the farm located three miles west and one mile south of Geneva.
Surviving are the father, in Blue Creek township, near Berne; the husband; four sons, Cletus, Doyle, Paul and Philip, and five daughters; Marie, Wilma, Marcella, Ruth and Esther, all at home. (Missing) Alger Eley of Celina, O.; George Eley, of North Dakota and Harold Eley, of Willshire, O., and three sisters, Mrs. Herbert Menere and Mrs. Robert Pettigrew, both of Anderson, and Mrs. Claude Buchanan, of Willshire, O. Twin children and a brother are deceased.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. CST Thursday at the Spring Hill church near Berne in charge of Rev. H. Mearl Wilson, of Bluffton. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
