A native of Spartenburg, SC (should be Spartanburg), he was a golf course superintendent at the Lucedale Country Club. A member of the Baptist faith, he died July 18 at Providence Hospital in Mobile, Ala.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Katharine; two son, Vern Brann and Vernon Douglas Bunch; three sisters, Tillie Silvas, Doris Dickerson and Betty Kelly.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Ted Bunch, two sons, Douglas Keith Brann and Clement Elmore Bunch and his first wife, Rubye May Bunch.
