Sherman I. Murphy, 77, died Tuesday at the home of his sister, Mrs. Anna Tusing, at Albia, where he had lived for 10 years. In addition to Mrs. Tusing, he is survived by two sisters and one brother. The body is at the Zimmerman funeral home in Lovilla, and services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Zimmerman chapel. Burial will be at the Union Mills cemetery in Oskaloosa.
