Mr. Revey died Tuesday, Aug. 10, 1999, at St. Francis Hospital, Wichita.
He was born Aug. 2, 1936, in Wellsville, the son of Edward Austin and Naomi (Van Tries) Revey. He graduated from Wellsville High School in 1954.
Mr. Revey was a farmer and stockman, and was a member of Garnett Masonic Delphian Lodge No. 44.
He married Karen Cowden on March 2, 1992, in Las Vegas. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include a son, Jack, Welda; four daughters, Karen Robbins, Lawrence, Jolene Alexander, Paola, Becky Young, Liberty, Mo., and Brenda Theroff, Overland Park; three stepdaughters, Kim Norris, Las Vegas, and Angie Gettler and Lori White, both of Garnett; two sisters, Charlene Statler and Cletus Converse, both of Lawrence; and 11 grandchildren.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. today at the chapel, where the family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday.
The family suggests memorials to Welda Methodist Church, sent in care of the chapel, P.O. Box 48, Garnett 66032. A memorial benefit will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday at Garnett Veterans of Foreign Wars.
