PENFIELD - Betty F. Lowstetter Johnston, 73, RD, Penfield, died Tuesday at the Brookville Hospital following a lengthy illness. She lived in Penfield all her life and was a housewife.
Born Nov. 18, 1919, in Penfield, she was the daughter of Charles O. Lowstetter and Pearl Conklin. She married Andrew Merle Johnston. He survives.
She was a member of the Home Camp Methodist Church and the Home Camp Grange.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Merle Johnston, Penfield; three sisters: Mildred Anderson, Florida; Tueth DeSalve, DuBois; and Doris Luchs, Connecticut; and by two grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Ralph, and infant son, Dennis; and a grandson, Michael Johnston.
