On June 6, 1934, her children asked her to write her history, which she did. Cathleen Thomas, known as 'Kittie', was one of eight children born to Horace L. Thomas and his wife Hannah Francis Hawkins. She married January 22, 1870 to Wm H. Anderson, the parents of Ida May Anderson (married Jeremiah Hutton). Kittie married November 24, 1875 Elk County, Kansas to Riland Franklin Mock. They were the parents of five children: Myra Alice (married George T. Artist), Maude Pearl (married Wm T. Lewis), Daisy Beulah (married Wm T. Taylor), Howard Clarence and Roscoe Franklin Mock. On February 11, 1889, Kittie married Charles A. Bagby, parents of Mabel Alta Bagby (married Charles E. Gearing then Walter Ernest Trumbull).
Kittie B. Bagby was living in California when she died. From Fresno Bee April 21, 1936: "Kittie B. Bagby, 84, a former reaident of the Lemoore district, died yesterday in a Fresno hospital after an illness of several weeks. She had been living recently with a daughter, Myra A. Atkinson, on a ranch near Fresno. She was born August 27, 1852 in Carroll County, Mo., and was married February 11, 1889 to Charles A. Bagby. They came to California in 1900 from Howard, Kansas, settling in the Kings River Island district near Lemoore where they lived for fifteen years. Mr. and Mrs. Bagby made several trips back to Kansas since 1915, living with relatives in Kings and Fresno Counties during their stays in California. Bagby died two years ago in Kansas. There survives a son, Roscoe Mock of Berkley; four daughters, Mrs. Atlinson and Maud P. Lewis of Fresno, Ida M. Hutton of Kirk, Colo., and Daisy B. Taylor of Doser, Colo.; thirty grandchildren and thirty-nine great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at 3 o'clock tomorrow afternoon in the Phipps Chapel in Lemoore."
