Trude Gustafson was born January 24, 1920 to Victor and Hulda (Rappako) Lehto in Battle Ground, Washington (Gravel Point), the second child of 16 children and the eldest daughter. She passed away February 6, 2013 at age 93 at the Ray Hickey Hospice house in Vancouver, Washington.
Trude married Fred Gustafson in 1940 and they spent most of their 54 years of marriage on the home place in Battle Ground, Washington where she was born.
She was a lifetime member of the Hockinson Apostolic Lutheran Church where her father had been a lay pastor.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred (1994); her parents; an infant son; and 12 siblings.
Memorial service will be Friday, February 15, 2013 with open casket at noon, and service at 1:00 p.m. at the Hockinson Apostolic Lutheran Church, 16108 NE 192nd Ave., Brush Prairie, Washington. Viewing will be 6:30-8:00, Thursday evening, Feb. 14, 2013 at the church.
The family requests donations to the Ray Hickey Hospice house at 2112 East Mill Plain Blvd., Vancouver, WA 98661.
