Howard Lange Martenet died Wednesday at his home, 505 Forest road, Roland Park, from lobar pneumonia, following an attack of influenza. He had been ill less than two weeks.
Mr. Martenet was born in Baltimore in 1886, and was the son of the late S. J. and Mrs. M. A. Martenet. He was graduated from the Friends School, this city and later attended Lehigh University and the Johns Hopkins University. For several years he was associated with the American Agriculture Chemical Company of New York and also with the American Cyanamid Company of New York. He was associated with Levering and Levering of Baltimore, the past few years.
Mr. Martenet is survived by his widow, Mrs. Susie M. Martenet: two children, Elizabeth and Howard Lange; his mother, two brothers, S. J. Martenet, of Columbus, Ohio and Mark S. Martenet, now in France, and two sisters, Mrs. George B. Ely and Mrs. T. Latimer Ford, both of Baltimore.
The funeral will take place this afternoon.
