Elsie Middleton, 83, of 1108 6th Avenue, Des Moines, died Monday, September 24,1979, in Mercy Hospital, Des Moines. She was a former Centerville resident.
Born January 5, 1896, in Macon County, Mo., she was the daughter of John and Martha Hull Jones. She was married to Archie Middleton, and he preceded her in death. Others preceding her in death were her parents, three brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include two brothers, the Rev. Albert Kondy, Spokane, Wash.; and William B. Jones, York, Neb.; one sister, Marie Kauzlarich, Marcellne, Mo.; and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Vincel Kondy, Centerville.
Services will be Wednesday, September 26,9 a.m., at Hamilton Funeral Home in Des Moines, with the Rev. Dan LeLaCheur officiating. Burial will be in Felkner Cemetery west of Centerville at 12 noon Wednesday. Johnson Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
