Samuel DUNAWAY died circa 1878 at in the home of his son, Isaac, Pleasant Valley, Dallas County, Texas. He was buried circa 1878 at Dunaway Cemetery, Frisco, Collin County, Texas.
He was a preacher in the Missionary Baptist Church and a farmer. He moved to Texas in 1866 from Tennessee.
The Dunaway Cemetery - Frisco Lebanon, is on the west side of Preston Rd in Collin County, Texas just in between Warren Rd and Lebanon Rd. The cemetery is about 30 feet by 100 feet, surrounded by an old wire fence. It is in the middle of a plowed field in a circle of tress.
