Blaine M. Cookson, 63, of Decatur, formerly of Sullivan, died 9:21 p.m. Sunday (February 10, 2013) in Provena United Samaritans Medical Center, Danville.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday in the Reed Funeral Home, Sullivan with Rev. Gary Abbott officiating. There will be no visitation. Memorials are suggested to the family. Condolences may be sent to the family at reedfuneralhome.net.
Blaine was born September 13, 1949 in Decatur, the son of Warren K.and Ethel Frodsham Cookson. He was a self employed carpenter and siding installer and a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
He was preceded in death by his father, Warren K. Cookson and his son, Eric Blaine Cookson.
