Barbara Marsh-Swanson January 30, 1943-April 9, 2007

Daughter of Elliott and Katherine Clark, sister to Elliott "Skip" Clark and Helen-Jean Cooper, mother of Debbie and Bobby Marsh, devoted wife and beloved friend to many, passed away after a two year struggle with lung cancer.

Barbara was a resident of Seal Beach for over 33 years.

Prior to retiring, Barbara worked as a preschool teacher at Gerber Preschool, a teacher's assistant at Weaver Elementary, an office assistant at her family's trucking company and was the owner of Aldrich Antiques in Long Beach throughout the 1980s and 1990s.

She had a zest for life that was unrivaled and had a love for making people laugh. When she wasn't working or with her children, Barbara enjoyed spending time planting in her garden.

Although the hardships of cancer were extremely difficult, the love of her family, her positive attitude and her unwavering faith helped her each and every day. She touched the lives of many during her lifetime and she will be remembered always as a loving, caring, compassionate person who will be dearly missed.
