Hazel Wills Thompson, 94, of Frances Drive, Greeneville, died Tuesday afternoon at Laughlin Memorial Hospital.

She was a longtime employee of the George C. Moore Co.

Mrs. Thompson attended First Church of God as long as her health permitted.

Her family noted, "She spent her entire life taking care of her family and other people."

She was the widow of Bob Wills and Grant Thompson.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law: Wanda and Junior Gentry and Shirley and Carson Cutshaw, all of Greeneville; seven grandchildren and their spouses: Ricky and Becky Gentry, Carolyn and Johnny Holt, Mike and Karen Gentry, Bobby and Karla Gentry, Debbie Hensley, and Darlene and Terry Gaskins, all of Greeneville, and Donna and Dirk Stephens of Olympia, Wash.; 12 great-grandchildren: Tara Covington, Dustin Covington, Chad Covington, Jeremy Gentry, Deidre McCaslin, Chris Gentry, Tyler Gentry, Trevor Gentry, Cortne Hensley, Cody Gaskins, Parker Stephens, and Peyton Stephens; seven great-great-grandchildren; one sister: Marjorie Lowery, and two special sisters-in-law: Mamie Lowery and Flora Belle Lowery, all of Greeneville; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one daughter: Maxine Wills; five brothers: Arnold Lowery, Howard Lowery, Ray Lowery, Carl Lowery, and Glen Lowery; and three sisters: Anna Mae Hensley, Dorthy Lowery, and Blanche Lowery.

The family will receive friends from 1-3 and 5-7 p.m. today at Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home.

The funeral service will follow visitation at 7 o'clock in the funeral home chapel. Pastor David Fox will officiate.

A committal service will be held at 11 o'clock Friday morning in GreeneLawn Memory Gardens. Family and friends will meet at 10:15 at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery.

Her grandsons will be pallbearers.

Honorary pallbearers will be the staff of Signature HealthCARE of Greeneville
